The Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) is pleased to announce that Engr. Dr. Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo, renowned entrepreneur and passionate advocate for youth development and empowerment, has come to the aid of Nigerian student athletes by providing them with essential kits for the upcoming 31st World University Games in Chengdu, China. The Games is scheduled to take place from July 28 to August 08, 2023.
NUGA has encountered significant financial challenges in its preparations for this international sporting event, forcing the association to rely heavily on universities for qualified athletes. Recognising the crucial importance of adequately equipping these talented individuals for their participation, Waheed-Adekojo through her subsidiary AG Apparel has generously agreed to donate kits for the Nigerian contingent competing at the World University Games.
The kits, designed to meet the highest standards of quality and functionality, will provide the Nigerian student athletes with the necessary attire and gear to compete at their best.
