Against the earlier advertised dates of June 09 – 18, the NWFL Premiership Super Six has been rescheduled to hold from June 06 – 11 with all the matches now going to take place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta state.

According to the Nigeria Women Female League (NWFL)in a statement on Thursday’s night the change became inevitable to meet up with the exigencies of the June 12 deadline set by CAF for the submission of names of countries champions for the WAFU zone B playoffs ahead the continental Champions League.

Despite this sudden change, the organisers confirmed last night that it was ever ready to play the good host.

The participating teams expected to arrive Asaba on Monday include defending champions, Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, FC Robbo Queens, Confluence Queens, Rivers Angels and hosts, Delta Queens.
